The Trojan Family

The USC Trojan Family is a diverse, global network of hundreds of thousands of alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, donors, partners, friends and fans. This unique, genuinely supportive community is among the most loyal anywhere. The term “Trojan Family” is more than a phrase: “It represents a promise, a commitment to support that is lifelong and worldwide.”

In addition to being part of the USC Alumni Association, all alumni of the USC Marshall School of Business and USC Leventhal School of Accounting are members of the USC Marshall Alumni Association, one of the world’s leading and most influential business-networking organizations.

The USC Marshall alumni network of more than 82,000 graduates across over 100 countries is composed of business and accounting alumni with experience in a wide variety of industries, professions and regions. This association provides lifelong benefits, connections and access to the USC Trojan Family and beyond. It provides graduates with an inside track in a competitive business environment, access to career advancement opportunities and resources and diverse ways to serve our community.

Alumni Participation Rate

Every gift, regardless of size, makes an impact and positions our school for excellence.

Win-Win: Gifts from alumni help the USC Marshall School of Business and USC Leventhal School of Accounting remain competitive leaders in global business education. Alumni support is part of a proud tradition at USC and not only benefits students and faculty, but also increases our alumni participation rate. As our ranking increases, the value of your degree increases as well!

What is a "participation rate"? It is the percentage of alumni who provide financial contributions to the university during the year. This is not a measure of the size or amount of the gift, but rather the number of graduates who give. The percentage is calculated each and every year. In addition to providing financial support to the University, this participation directly affects how we are ranked against our peers. U.S. News & World Report uses the alumni participation rate as the only indicator of alumni satisfaction when it publishes its annual ranking of colleges and universities.

Dean's Strategic Fund: The dean relies on the annual support of alumni, parents and friends to the Dean’s Strategic Fund. The fund helps to keep USC Marshall at the cutting edge of discovery, globalization and engagement.  It gives the dean the "ability to green light initiatives that take students out of their comfort zones and spark the school's intellectual agenda." By making a contribution of any amount to the Dean’s Strategic Fund, you are supporting both students and faculty to achieve academic excellence.
